How to Install netbeans software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

netbeans software package provides Extensible Java IDE, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install netbeans

netbeans is installed in your system.

Make ensure the netbeans package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep netbeans *

You will get with netbeans package name, version, architecture and description in a table
